Starkey Hearing Technologies is an American privately owned company based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota that makes hearing aids. In 1967, William F. Austin started a small hearing aid repair store which eventually grew into one of the most well-known state-of-the-art hearing aid company under his vision “Alone, we can’t do much. Together, we can change the world.” Starkey is known to donate hearing aids through their “Starkey Hearing Foundation” to help more people in need around the world to receive the gift of hearing. Over one million hearing aids were given to people around the world.

Unitron

Unitron, a Sonova brand, was founded in 1952. Unitron knows hearing matters, and their innovation is driven by collaboration with leading research institutions in Canada and the United States and strong relationships with hearing healthcare professionals.

Phonak

Phonak, a Sonova brand, was founded in 1947 and is currently the most popular hearing care provider in the hearing industry. Signia

Signia (formerly known as Siemens) is a popular premium hearing aid brand that is now part of WS Audiology. The WS Audiology was developed in 2019 between Sivantos (was also known as Signia) and Widex. Siemens Was first established in Germany in 1878 by Werner Von Siemens, who designed a telephone using a horse magnet, thus improving the phone’s sound quality. Since then, Siemens improved their hearing devices from old school hearing aid “phonophor” from the early 1900s to the most current, advanced, premium hearing aid technology available on the market.

Westone

Westone was known to provide in-the-ear, wearable, custom solutions and was first established in 1959 in Colorado, USA. Currently, Westone provides custom-fit hearing protection and custom-fit earmolds for listening devices for musicians, hunters, and military alike. Westone also provides protection for swimming and while sleeping.
