Dr. Tilahun graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communicative Sciences and Disorders in 2004 from Hampton University in Hampton, VA and Doctor of Audiology degree in 2011 from the Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Bloomsburg, PA. She has been practicing in the Northern Virginia area since 2011. Dr. Tilahun has worked in a variety of settings including elementary school and university setting as well as hearing aid centers. Dr. Tilahun is a Licensed Audiologist and Hearing Aids Specialist. She is a fellow member of the American Academy of Audiology and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Other than helping people hear better, Dr. Tilahun enjoys spending quality time with her husband and her baby boy, traveling, and cooking.
